This is close up of front left mount that I'm wondering is that what it looks like a Z3 - this looks like a spot for a latch to grab???

Yes thanks for confirming I've got one of the two necessary bolts already just wanted to confirm that is what the actual Z hardtop mounting hardware looks like? At first I thought this was for a latch now after your note and looking at the top of my car and measure again I where this would fit down into two depressions on the outer sides of the bolt probably to help with lining up the bolt holes and maybe keeping from over tightening.

Ok so I spoke with Larry and asked hey how do you end up with this hardtop and not know what car it came off of so he explains they moved from Vegas and bought this house and in the shed was some stuff which he agreed to buy for an extra $100 - will in there was a bunch of stuff including a saw which he wanted up front so was happy to pay the $100 turns out there were two vintage bicycles a bunch of over stuff and this hardtop. That is why he didn't know when he did a search for the old part number tag which I shared a picture of earlier he ran in internet search and it matched up with a hood for 323ci - he told me he decided to sell because he cracked tooth and needed $ 2300 for dental bill and he didn't need it anyway but that was what motivated him to list it on craigslist. Ok so we agreed on $1500 cash as long as it fits which it better! Tomorrow I'm going to head that way after rush hour clears out. :racecar:

I recall my sister telling me from when she was there a year or two ago that winter can be very cold with lots of snow in Chicago. Surely a good reason for a hardtop.
Is it your daily driver?
Well worth it if it is.
How far away is the seller?
