If you have a look at the V5 registration document when you get it previous owner details will be on there, I wrote to the previous owner of mine when I got it and he rang me and gave me the history in his ownership.
Looks very nice by the way.

Just had a look at you cars MOT history here

Not a lot to worry about judging by the history

Hi colb. Actually I know that there is nothing to worry about and the advisories were all dealt with and done. The car received a new calliper a few days before it was sold albeit the brake fluid was change a few weeks earlier and it was perfectly fine.
The tyre valves were of the longer type and the cracking was down to the flexing during rotation at speed - changed the very next day for the short type.
They had only done just under 5,000 miles as they were replaced when the tyres were fitted in June of last year.
The suspension bushes were only just beginning to show and had it been retained (not sold on) they would have been done by now.
The car once wore a Personalised registration plate that was removed just before the images were taken.

As you will doubtless guess - the car was mine - it was changed for a rather nice two owner (mother and then daughter) 59,000 mile 14yr old 325 Ci Auto.

Yes realised it was your car, new owner must think he has won the lottery finding one in that condition.

Hi again colb. Yes I bet he or she really did feel that they had fallen lucky - I had the car fitted with the OEM Staggered wheels and Hub Concentric Spacers to the rears.
The car went along with the OEM hardtop and an OEM fitting kit,the hardtop trolley and BMW rear screen blanket, indeed it also had the original BMW tool kit and emergency triangle in the boot space.
The car had been inspection 1 serviced and was still showing 4 green lights at the point of leaving my ownership with some 76,390 miles on the clock.
It was only sold because I was experiencing increased difficulty getting into the car when the 'Brain Dead' public failed to recognised that it had a wider door than most cars - I have had total left knee replacement and getting in and down into the seat was 'not easy'. There again being blessed with being a short-arse and at 4'10" tall has many disadvantages - the few advantages I will savour.

Have a bum right knee just putting the op off as long as possible but do know what you are saying about brain dead people getting to close and making life miserable. JIM

Get the knee done Jim,had mine done 5 years ago, so much fun going through metal detectors at airports.

Hi Martin. Getting the knee done is not the be-all and end-all of your troubles albeit the immediate pain associated with the issue will go.
Soft tissue, tendons and nerve ending pain can and will likely be experienced for some years to follow.

Depending upon your overall stature and your inside leg measurement the restriction at the knee to bending can be an issue - maintaining the physio and the stretch exercises is essential. I can just manage a 92* bend at the knee but if I leave the bikes alone for a few weeks then the first 10 minutes can be uncomfortable but then it loosens up.

Albeit at pushing the door of 71yrs young I am still able to ride my bikes albeit with 140mm cranks and Stronglight rings (triple) instead of the 170mm cranks that are more the norm.
Also I ride Marcel Berthet Lyotard Platform Pedals and Toe Clips with straps as the SPD system would be a No No because of the need to twist the knee to disengage the foot and as that is the side that I come to a halt on it could result in a roadside circus show.
