I know where she's coming from :p
It's easier to do chores when your home by your self :)

She needs to get a 'I'm Retired Also' one:thumbsup:

My son gave me this as a birthday pressie, three years after I retired. No sense of timing!

I suspect the answer to your original question @Mazza is "Yes".
Perhaps a hobby that gets you out from under her feet more often would be a positive move? :)

Like it Colin!

I have a double garage, loads of tools and a Z3 .........that’s all the hobby I need =))

I'm retired, but far busier now (enjoying myself) then when I had to work! How about; Table Tennis twice or three times a month, Petanque twice a month (+ league games starting), 10 pin bowling, Film Club, Organising and driving in Go Kart meets once or twice a month, Drumming in Blues Jams twice a month, Helping Mrs Bonzo on an allotment, 3 grand children, Attending Forum and BMWCC events, eating out, theatre and socialising, (more friends now than when I was working!) I'm on Aylsham's Christmas lights committee, I've just volunteered to listen to school children reading, Holidays, Oh, and I'm thinking of joining the committee of our local U3A. I still get the odd day when I mainly sit in the sun and do nothing! Retirement is great..My health is good. I also have a wonderful wife I have known for 51 years. I feel so blessed and am thankful for my lot in life. I never take anyone or anything for granted. I also laugh quite a bit. Life is what you make it I think.
