Hi everyone, well it's the 17th December and it's 17c & sunny here in the south Charente. Just come back from a awesome drive with the top down. Zero traffic (nearly) only one car in 50 miles. I'm so impressed with the handling of the Z3 and the sound track from the 3.0i is superb. Some of the best roads and bends only minutes from our house.. What can I say!!

Sounds like heaven, we are going out for an afternoon cruise with the top down, its about 12 here so winter has not arrived yet but I'm sure we'll get it soon.

Sounds excellent 17c it's only 7c here in Worcestershire. 1 car in 50 miles as it should be

Your so lucky living where you do. That's one of the beauty's of France. Weekend traffic is none existent. Pleasant day here. 10°c and sunny. Been to @billz this morning buy not in the Zed. Only get it out now for essential journeys, I don't like the thought of the salt getting at it.

Hi, in the 6 years we've lived here in south west France, we have never seen a gritter. When it does snow they just aspect you to get on with it. Last decent snow we had was 5 years ago when we had 1ft of the white stuff and -18.
Trapped in our little commune for 3 days. Every year seems to get warmer, hence the post.

The first frost was 1st November and there's only been about 6 after that and in the main it's been dry. this year does seam to be very mild lets hope it stays that way. No gritter's

Yes, winter is here, well near me it is. The bad bends at Fenton claimed its first victim of the year last night/this morning, a car was on its side in the hedge bottom. But in all fairness it has happened very late this year, could be a record

Tony.

Winter well been here milder at moment but been -7 couple weeks ago daytime +1 had a bit of snow as well

Sounds like you had a great day :p

@Howard, enjoy the bonus and stop few seconds and take some pics. It will keep up your moral when the Mistral will start to blow.

It was very foggy here yesterday :p
But it's all gone now we had quite a bright day ;)

Sunday evening-29c Monday morning-7c. Welcome to Canada in winter. Above normal temps this week after a week of WAY below normal!!

Wow that's cold, think I'll stick with the weather here in South west France. Our daughter is skiing in the Alps(Méribel/BrideslesBains) and there's hardly any snow, 35 mins on chair lifts to get to any thing to ski on!!
