I just looked across the lake thinking to myself this looks and feels more mid afternoon on a December day at Christmas time than Springtime. Brrrrr!

Wish it would warm up some.

Tony.

Supposed to be warm next week mate. Weather been so s*** so far this year

Well the birds think it is mate, I have blue tits nesting in my bird box and have a blackbird sitting on eggs in the ivy

That was the ironic thing Sean, as I stood taking that picture I could hear the Blackies singing . I thought "You're not fooling me, it's Christmas tomorrow!" =))=))

Tony.

Must be spring, the daffodils are out and the trees are blossoming . Does feel like winter today :meh:.

I'm rather pleased that the weather is crap seeing as I don't have a functioning Z ;):D

You two are just being plain selfish !:)

Tony.

From a farming perspective we are running 3 whole weeks behind the 10 year average, so spring is officially really late this year. But the ducks are now sitting, leverets are being dropped all over the fields, the daffodils are finally in full bloom and the rape and the winter wheat and barley have got a proper sprint on. It's been a long wet winter and the water table is exceptionally high, but summer is coming...really!

Must be tough for UK farmers and be near on impossible to plan things.

That's just how it is Nigel, the year we built our bungalow was 1983 and that year we had a very wet spring but after we made a start it dried up and we had one of the hottest, longest summers round here near Lincoln.

Tony.

Its bloody cold in London , my hands are freezing

Strangely enough, the exact same here in the mid-Atlantic states of the US. The farmers all around me are way behind. We are finally forecast to hit 60F tomorrow and perhaps close to 80F this weekend... straight to summer!

Sunny and warm In Bognor this morning. Just been out roof down. Stopped to take this picture during an hour and a half run about wasting petrol :) ...but it was fun so who cares!
Didn't even have the heated seats or heater on.
