Is anyone following Nathan, the Brit in LA building the Z3 Beetle Hybrid? I am as he's dealing with his depression and continuing onwards with this build. He's now on episode 10 and his health is good.

Theres not much left of that zed :wideyed: but i have been watching. I have watched since he became a member here when he did his 3.0 Zed a few years back.
That rear cross member was toast the bolt together repair was shocking

It don't just happen here then Ant. =)) I'm looking forward to seeing him put the body onto Z chassis. Will be interesting I think.

Yeah I'm keeping tabs on this project

Yeah! I stumbled across his channel when he purchased the Z3 from Copart. I hadn't got mine at the time and was interested in the diff mounting and boot spot welds splitting.

Look back at his other videos, he's done some interesting stuff. I've not watched them all yet.

Not sure where any integrety is going to be left the A posts and B Posts are coming out :wideyed: Going to be interesting it looks like he will be sat in the rear seat of the beetle too will be quite a sensation to drive i imagine roll on Ep11 lol

Am enjoying it among other car watches on YouTube. He is certainly fearless with the angle grinder and reciprocating saw.

No idea how he is going to sit in it when finished though.

Also keeping tabs on Urchfab and his Mongrel. Ford 100e (I think) grafted onto an MX5.

I do love a rebody

I'm sure most of you will be watching Project Binky... If not, they've taken a classic Mini and are putting Toyota Celica running gear into it.

I am involved with the website Not2Grand. Chris Pollitt, the journo who writes it, is editor of the Car & Classic website. We have done a few videos for Not2Grand, and he's done some for Car & Classic. A couple of them have been made at my friends unit, where Chris and Richard Brunning (from Project Binky) came up to work on Chris's £100 Mercedes. I'm in that video, and the Not2Grand NSU Ro80 one.

Started watching on your recommendation, and he certainly likes chopping up a Zeee 3!

Latest episodes of the Mutt are up.

If anyone wants to see how the Z3 is put together this is very interesting. If not bloody scarey.

He's after some advice on stripping down wiring looms if there's anyone here who hasn't been watching his videos.

Did you spot the flexing when he lowered the front jack Mick?

Tony.

Loving this. Wonder what a Z3 under a beach buggy body would be like.

Flexxxxyyyyy !
