Lost our Westie last July, and vowed not to get another one:whistle: But we missed him so much that we found something was missing so: Apparently its a designer dog? Cavalier Spaniel crossed with a Bichon Frise and you get a Cavachon.

Cute one! Xmas gift!

We are both big dog lovers and have two ourselves. Couldn't imagine life without them. Good move Jim, looks a proper cutie! :)

Looks a great new addition. you lasted longer than we did took us 3 weeks without before we started looking again.

I had forgotten how much work they are though I am knackered.

Sunday Morning:
Came down to a right smelly mess, puppy had a bad stomach after its short car trip, so you can imagine the mess on the conservatory floor. I am not the best person to deal with this type of mess as I have a very weak stomach, but gave it a go NIGHTMARE! should have waited for the missus.

Grabbed a roll of kitchen paper and wiped the first pile up, straight into retching mode. Tears rolling down my face nearly adding to the mess, managed to do it though, onto next pile, again retching mode kicked in more tears, only to find the little B***** had picked my first parcel up and decided to run around the conservatory with it spilling the contents everywhere and just to make it even worse just before I managed to get to him he decided to shake it, STUNNED it bloody went everywhere. managed to grab it from him and took it straight to the bin, only to find he had grabbed the second parcel and was busy carrying that around (thankfully I got to him before he could give it a good shake) got rid of that one and moved to the next pile (four in total) Wow how a little dog can carry that lot around beats me, not surprised if a cow had been walking around, any way managed the third pile with no problems and put the parcel in the bin, last pile now, knelt down to pick it up and the delightful little thing came over to me and placed his paws on my jeans, only to find that his paws were covered in the stuff on the floor, that really got me Retching Mode kicked in with a vengeance, tears were now streaming down my face and it felt like my stomach was about to pop out. At that moment Lena made an appearance and started laughing her head off at me, but I soon stopped her when I showed here all the little brown marks on the wall and sofa. In the bath he went followed by myself. At least learned one thing, don't go into the conservatory first wait for the missus.

Sorry Paul, Couldn't Help being weak, If you are like me (A great big softy) I have tried to convince myself (and my wife) that we did not need another, but I feel a lot happier knowing that I have a dog waiting for me after work to make a fuss of me I have been down in the dumps since July, feeling a lot better since Saturday, don't deny yourself mate, go and get one, you wont regret it.Just make sure you leave the missus clean up its mess.

Do miss him but have also enjoyed the freedom, and being able to have several weekends away in the Z we would not have had. On the plus side i have a regular booking looking after my brothers black lab, "Bruno"

Mate, go get another, they make a house a home. We had one dog and a cat, when we lost the cat we went straight out and got another dog as a companion. Never looked back. We will always have a dog, couldn't imagine not having one. The yorkie x was here with the cat, they were best mates then we got Woody the working Cocker, he's superb and a real mummys boy.

How lovely :p
He's so sweet ;)

Lovely little pooch. We've got a big mongrel called Fred. He's my best mate bar none

Owwwwww he sooooo fluffy love him ❤️

Nice one Jim. We lost our Sheppy around 4 years ago we had him for 11 of 13 year life. We wont get another now as we dont have the time to spend with the one and it would be unfair. Mind it would be nice to have one just so i can feel wanted =))

I dare not show the pic to Trinity she's wanting a pup like this for quite some time but we tell her she has her Daddy's two dogs just down the road anytime she wants!! Not up for puppy training, getting too damn old! JIM
