Intercooler Pipe Kit Install Advice for a First Timer?

Hello everyone.

This will be my first time installing an intercooler pipe kit myself instead of paying a shop. I have basic tools and general mechanical knowledge but no turbo specific experience.

What should I watch out for during installation, especially regarding coupler clamp torque and pipe routing near hot engine components? I do not want to melt a silicone hose against the exhaust or crossmember by accident.

Also wondering if there are common mistakes beginners make that lead to boost leaks right after installation.

Any beginner friendly guides or personal tips would be greatly appreciated before I start.
