Insurance

Z3M is due for renewal soon. Who is best for this as only doing a few thousand miles a year.
Thanks
Hello

Try @BMBabe on here, she works for an insurance company and provides insurance for many members. I've tagged her so she'll be along soon.

I use Footman James. Very happy with their prices for limited mileage (also 3000). My brother's 1.9 is about £140 and my 2.2 is about £200.
That's without any no claims bonus of course as it's a second-car. Doesn't seem to affect the price, presumably due to the low level of risk associated with such a car/driver.

Lots of useful add-ons available for a reasonable price like agreed value, salvage retention rights, spares. I think they added about £30 to my cover.

depends if you use agreed value or not ? if agreed value not all companys do them for cars under 20yrs old , have used Adrian flux as they seem ok and they do an agreed value policy for £300 ish worth while for lower milage models as book value means diddly squat nowadays,

Footman James just refused to quote on my 2.2 as its not 20 years old.

I've purchased another 12 months of insurance ready for the coming year.

Adrian Flux!! Unless you want your car written off for a dented wing. Only way to go with a Z is agreed values. As ljauto says , your car is worth diddly squat with a standard insurance policy. By the way my 3.0 auto Z was £146 with Saga, but worth diddly squat if I were in an accident

Footman James refused to quote my 1999 zed as it was not 20 years old.
