Looks good, what bhp is that filter rated for?
I dont know just about the only one i could find that is actually 90mm unrestricted rather then "rubber bushes" or the likes to fit a larger hose
Any difference power or pick up..
Not ran it yet just give it a rev on tick over as i snapped the expansion pipe to to rad pipe pipe when removeing air box...oops...

My k&n based kit doesn't feel much different to the factory airbox and I would be surprised if there was any increase in power.
Im pretty sure mine will do bugger all regarding the above but if the noise on tick over is anything to go by im really looking forward to hear the howl at full chat

Apart from sound the rest is placebo, only my opinion of course. :D

I agree re the noise up to a point, as my induction intake is open ended and Is placed right against the cold air feed from the grille it must be getting a lot better feed than through the original airbox, which is also designed to reduce the intake roar ! Many induction intakes have a "blocked" front face and so have to suck air in from the sides thus increasing the intake of warmer air from the engine bay.

I'm quite interested in one of these :)
Best thing about the car is the noise at full whack so if it improves that count me in!
Looking forward to before and after videos if they show the difference in sound

I just need to finalise the stay and then we're set to go.

The filter I'm using is rated to 400bhp so more than enough filtration

As soon as I get my PC back from the doctors Davy I will post some footage from mine. It is quite addictive though!

Longlife seem quite popular amungst the forum. I have a cat back system on mine but I can't find a stamp on it anywhere which is very annoying as I'd like to know what it is. Sounds great though!
