plates is a great idea :D
I am going to see if I can get some made up out of material other than standard number plates that could be temporarily placed over the road ones.

I'll update the thread once I've made some enquiries. I'm trying to find someone who will do the printing on the right material if I supply the correct sized artwork, just done a quick 5 minute mockup to show what I mean. I'm sure if I can find someone then if anyone else is interested they just need to fit their own design into the template.

and then with permission - something like this on the back

That's an interesting idea Snoops. I tried googling for companies who make 'show plates' a while ago, as I was thinking of doing similar.

I'm thinking that maybe a general sign maker may be easier to deal with, as the show plate supplies only seem to concentrate on letters/numbers with basic logos. The other alternative I had considered was laser printed sheets and then laminating them. Can't seem to find large enough laminating pouches - A3 isn't large enough! Shame because I wanted to beg/borrow/steal a laminator to make badges for Horwood House...

How about this Snoops?

or

Bit steep for a front/rear pair @ £35.90, but they allow you upload your own images for the left and right sides. http://www.platecreator.com/

They look good bit pricey. I have a contact in a sign shop. Just have to negotiate on price, do you think there will be much interest to try and help with price ???

I'm definitely up for a set of show plates! I guess others may be interested depending on cost.

Think the sign shop may be the way forward, as most show plate people only do number plates with set parameters. A sign shop will be able to customise and print exactly what we want on them I would have thought :-\
