Archived Improvements for the grand show that is zedfest

Hello all,

I thought i would start a sensible thread (got my serious hat on).

It seems people are spending money on their zeds for the show in july :x .

Id like to know what improvements people are undertaking for the weekend in July?

I will start you off:

Ive painted my brake calipers (blue)

i have had my seat bolsters re-sprayed.

Just had an oil service, diff oil replace.

I will be having a new soft top fitted.

I will also be having my bonnet resprayed!!

The last job will be a detail (looking for a good company near peterborough?).

Yes. He works out the back of a Mini Cooper Clubman. At the time he also had a Z3.

New hood to be fitted (May 8th)
chromed oil filter housing cap.(to be fitted at oil service)
New front number plate with wales on (so i can find my car)

I'm getting new plates too (forgot to put that on the list!)

apart from that its sorted just a bit of a polish

Nearly forgot - if I can afford it I have a cracking private registration in mind, but its £500 :-o

Well I thought once we're on there we don't have to have road legal number plates so Zippy will have his own commemorative plates for the piccies.

I’m not sure where I’m going to get them done but I fancy designing my own incorporating the Silverstone track layout and of course his name and the date of the event.

That sounds good Snoops, i have some with BMW Z3M on but its a pain to change them.
