I fear some of you may tempt me to get carries away before I've even established whether I have bought a reliable zed... =))
First job could be to get it to the Z shed, it will get a good look over and serviced

Well Jon, as I said, quoting your first Intro post.

I’m no mechanic, but I’ve replaced spark plugs, alternators and other simple things in my many years on this planet.
You would be more than welcome here and all you need are the parts you want to fit/change and your dinner money=)). Fun and P155 taking is completely free and you'll have a great day.

I've seen a whole lot of beige hoods in Florida but not so many over here. I imagine they're slightly cooler inside the car in a hot climate?

Yes that's true Martin, but it can get a tad too hot over there and it does rain a bit at times.
