it was probably funnier 1st time around but thought I would share my sons idea of a coupe.... Yes he's 19!! I might attach my idea as a 42 yr old, see if you can connect the ages to the drive.?:whistle: image.webpimage.webp

I'm 19 and I'm paying a hell of a lot on a 1.9 z3.
 
Not that bad! I like the Nissan, but without the bits of plastic stuck on and not that colour and I'm not 19 (nearer 91 lol).
I did like the Datsun 250 Z all those years ago. Why didn't the British industry replace the old MG s and Healeys with cars like the 250Z and the MX5 ? Lack of vision and investment I guess.

Yeah, he had his heart set on one, we managed to find this which believe it or not was being sold by a 58 yr old who brought it standard 3years ago,spent 6k on it and done 3000 miles. Decided to sell it because he fulfilled his mid life crises =))

I drove it back and must confess, it drives beautifully and sounds amazing thanks to the exhaust upgrade

My 18yr old was looking at quotes for a 1.9 and found that the face lift was coming back LOADS cheaper, like £3500 cheaper
He can get it for £2200
What are you paying?
 
nothing wrong with a 350z, proper brute of a coupe and reliable too boot.
Fantastic sounding engine too.

The only thing I dislike about the face lift 1.9 is the power decrease. 140bhp isn't a whole lot of power to begin with but when they took that down to 118bhp(?) in the face lift 1.9 model that was a little disappointing.

I wonder if that's why the face lift is cheaper to insure... Did the face lifts have side air bags too?
