Hi Folks
Newbie on here and not too hot with the technology posting uploading etc.
I am currently on the lookout for a Z3 but living in Northern Ireland availability is very limited. I have driven a few 1.9's and one 2.8 which spoilt me I think.
I would be interested in an available 2.8 in particular.
I am traveling through Scotland and England as far south as York in the next few weeks and would appreciate a pointer towards any decent Z3.
I would appreciate any tips or pointers before buying.
Grateful for any response by PM
Thanks Ian

Ian, you should remove your email address and ask members to contact you by PM (private messaging).
It's really easy to use and much safer than putting your personal information out there on the www

Tony.

Hi and welcome from Warwickshire.
Looks like you've got the right starting point.
Everyone loves speed and acceleration so it's easy to get sucked into the thinking the larger the engine the better.
That might not be the best for you. The smaller engines can be just as much fun to drive and because of lower engine weight up front can be an equally as rewarding drive. Go for the right car for you, the roads that you will be driving and not just engine spec

I was planning to go to England to buy one, then a 2.2 sport came up on gumtree near Belfast, it was so well looked after I had to have it.
Good luck with your search
