In case you wondering, I'm at Celtic Manor in Wales. This place is awesome, there's a BMW 4 series x drive M Sport parked in the hotel reception!

Just spoils a good walk if you ask me .............................. =))=)) Have a good time mate and enjoy. There are a few golf courses in Florida I believe ..................

Fantastic place, stayed in the hotel there once and played the short course and Roman Road course in the British Heart Foundation schools competition. Also had the priveledge of playing the Twenty Ten course just after it was constructed for the Ryder Cup as part of the England Junior school of excellence squad. Got to meet this man and his brothers who gave us all a driver and I won nearest the pin on the 14th from what I remember.

2nd day today, we are playing Ryder cup style England v Wales, 9/7 yesterday to Wales so we have to pull our finger out today.

I'm a PGA Professional now, have been a pro for around 8 years but don't play that often anymore! In fact I haven't even swung a club this year, the majority due to illness but now I'm fit again I haven't got round to it.

Glad to hear you are back fit again :thumbsup:. Which club are you at?
 
Won our pairs game today on the Montgomery course but unfortunately Wales won the day 5/3 and claimed overall victory :(.

Despite the defeat it has been a great experience and would definitely recommend Celtic Manor for golfers and non golfers alike, although the beer is a bit pricey when consumed in copious amounts! :whistle:
 
I think you need to speak to our neighbour for some hard earned driving tips. He was PGA ref at a tournament but managed to crash and overturn a golf buggy :whistle:

Got a better one than that, at Gorleston Golf Club, going back a few years now, the then club secretary owned a Z3.
He drove out on the course in it to place some markers and got stuck in a bunker.....

This is only my 3rd year of playing and haven't joined a club as yet, mainly due to having so many great courses close by as you say. I would say Norwood Park, Rufford and The Nottinghamshire are my favourites so far, we use Millfield a lot for practice (near @t-tony) because its cheap as chips (£6) but its never going to win any awards!

It would have benefitted with a bigger engine, some 18" wheels, splitters and a spoiler! =)) Oh and a kitchen waste bin =)).
