On the upside the Duck came off worse.

That's not so good Tony .
Is the other grille damaged as well ?

Better get back to the shops to get some oranges..........unless it was a mandarin duck !

Did you shout DUCK! Or was it rhyming slang?

It is Steve, that was from polishing someone's tow ball last year mate
On my list.

Tony.

Good job my missus wasn't in the car. She'd have been giving the duck the kiss of life and stuff the car.

I am beginning to think that the duck might have been the innocent party.

Definitely not Yer Honour. Fancy coloured thing, thought might have been to @Sean d place.=)).
Anyway all's well that ends well eh?

That’s the downside of living out in the sticks !
I just have Uber drivers and black cabs to avoid.

Was it a ready sliced roast duck by the time you got home?

The law on roadkill is that if you cause it you have to leave it by the roadside. Anyone else can then claim it. But, if it's embedded in your car, what do you do

It wasn't quite off the road at first, one drop goal later however . . . . . .

Tony.

There's 2 sides to this unfortunately there's the crack the funny about it side the other the damage something that size can cause .
I quite frequently see much larger roaming on the roads sheep ,cows and deer.
Wouldn't fancy any kind of contact with one of them when a duck is like a feathered bowling ball :eek:

Many many years ago someone I vaguely knew crashed into a cow that was loose on an unlit country road. Unfortunately he was on his motorbike, you can guess the outcome. :(

My cousin used to work for the Lincoln & District water Board and they drove Commer PB vans (those who can remember them) had fairly flat front and Chris, well, he hit a cow in one of those near Retford Notts. He survived (just) the cow didn't.

May day 2004, I hit a badger while riding my ZZR1100. Got myself a helicopter ride to hospital, 6 weeks off work with broken ribs and my bike written off :(
