well most people get nails or screws in there tyres, but not me - i had to be different and get a whacking great big allen key in mine, not the short end, oh no, its gone in long end first and what makes it worse is its probably one of mine too, on the upside at least i haven't lost an allen key.
 
Oh dear.. bummer dude! When l drop anything on garage floor / driveway that's the first thing like worry about..especially when you can't then find it which is what usually happens to me.. remarkably lve only ever scored one 'own goal' puncture in 40 years and really suprised there haven't been more (maybe l shouldn't have said that lol!!)
 
I too picked up an Allen key in a rear tyre, looked just like an IKEA one too.
It was on an airfield driving day at Northweald which ended play, the tyre sealants county cope with that..
 
it is still in there, this is why im fairy confident its mine - ding ding ding as I drove out of my road this morning, it wasn't dinging last night unless the short end was buried in the tred then as it went down it started to push out, seems likely though that it is mine.
 
Don't tell but i guess the allen key is in the best tyre on your car
 
no its not:) both the rears need changing soon anyway, could have been worse, could have been the front which was changed a week before the Rutland meet.

I think the funniest loosing thing that has happened to me recently is I was changing the oil filter and I put the small poly bag containing the o-ring down and the wind blew it away, then about 2 min later the wind returned said poly bag minus the o-ring=))
the other funny loosing it time was literally loosing it, after I hit my head on the underside of my Z (directly onto a rusty nut )while spotting some short skirt walking past, serves me right I suppose. everyone does it
