I am a bit surprised at you lads for taking the pee out of another enthusiasts pride and joy. He likes it enough to spend another 5k to get it up and running so that's good enough for me. I am not criticising just saying.
Can't disagree with that comment, apart from, You don't have to repair the piece of crap.;)

No thanks. I saw a similar car on Wheeler Dealers and they basically rebuilt it. All for next to nothing of course and Edd worked for free.lol

I really can't fault the guy who owns it to be fair. Whenever it comes in for work, when he gets the call he comes in with his laptop and orders whatever it needs regardless of cost. He has spent loads on it over the years, he obviously does love it. I don't, simple as that. It's horrible to drive, uncomfortable and has no redeeming features as far as I can see. The rear lights are genuinely "smoked";)

That's not a very nice thing to post, its taken 15 years for the bloke to come up with 5K to get it repaired.
Can't afford it, don't buy it..... Simple.

Maybe you got the wrong end of the stick here Mike, I have tested this thing for most of the past 15 years. This damage occurred recently in Scotland and was recovered to Lincoln today. Never had a problem with the guy who owns it regarding paying whatever it needs, he's a nice fella and I quite like him, it's just we differ on what is a nice car:thumbsup:;)

Tony.

ps. We used to have a Maroon coloured one come in for test around the same time as this one. It was in much nicer condition all round but it still did nothing at all for me.
