First attempt not bad but did learn a couple of things.....oven temp , consistency etc
2nd attempt they looked much better

They are called Moon Rocks ....recipe came from a Primary School cook book... so you would think .......what can go wrong??

Perhaps curry powder instead of mixed spice probably wasn’t a good move!

Next time I will wear my glasses

Your little helper (or, was that you?) looks very pleased with herself Andy.Our Gary now has Izzy every other week and they do cookies, pizzas, Shepherds Pie etc. creates interest in trying something she helped to make.

That’s a nice look. We had a parting of ways with a decorator as my expectations were incompatible with his skill level. So not quite there yet! Like you say, finishing touches.
