I’ve decided ......

I am not ready to retire yet. Tried it a couple of years ago and only lasted 3 months. I just love what I do too much so went back to it. I did however change to a 4 day week so every weekend is a long one.
 
I have been thinking of going down to Tuesday-Friday for a while. My boss has agreed it in principal but just haven't taken the plunge yet. Jue is happy for me to do it which is all good but i keep thinking about the drop in pay. My plan is to get the house finished and reasess as I won't be spending on it every month which would then make it an affordable option for me.
 
Best thing i ever did finishing early, never board even on a damp miserable day better to be at home than outside getting wet. The drop in wage is a consideration but taking into account Tax and NI the drop isn't as much in actual take home as thought.
