Not exciting ? A TVR Cerbera ? You get forearms of steel Lee ?

Driving the M felt like a kitten compared to the Cerb. If my pockets were deeper I would of kept it.

Honda CB450
Yamaha DT100
Suzuki TS185

'66 LR SIIa 88 hardtop
'73 MGB Roadster
'76 Ford Granada Estate auto

'01 Boxster S
'90 Defender 90 Station Wagon - actually a converted HT - Still on the fleet (1990 was the first year of the Defender name)

A number of these were concurrent ownership. I used to keep most of my LR products for years. Excluding the Freelander and Disco 1.
Pretty sure I've missed a couple out, but memory sometimes plays tricks.

The Monte Carlo was the original mk1 with the servo on the front brakes only and rear engined what a recipe for disaster !! They brought out the mk2 and rectified the problem by removing the he servo all together. My one was only about 5 yrs old and I had to have the rear arches repaired for rust and the engine cross member snapped !! They were not built to last but good fun (in the dry)

@G4FUJ You have had more cars than I've got SOTA hits:D.

SOTA= Sumits on the Air. Very basically, an Amateur Radio competition, where you get points for contacting stations on top of mountains.

Many above seem to not have noticed that the original post said cars other than 'Zeds' ! Still, who cares about that as we are on here because we like our Zeds.
Some great cars various people have owned and quite a few of us thinking the same thing, "wish I'd have kept the .....". Hindsight is a wonderful thing.:)

I was thinking the same thing, so many nice old cars, some worth silly money now.

I was offered a near mint low mileage Capri about ten years ago tucked away in someones garage, he wanted £3000 but in reality it was worth £2000 so I left it.

I feel a right pillark now.

It's mostly the last 10 years or so I seem to have gone through a few Colin. Many not lasting me much over 6 months before being traded for something else - expensive hobby!
As for SOTA I need to get back into chasing again. And perhaps getting out onto the (easier) hills again :)
The previous Z3 was one 6 month car - XYL in passenger seat, came up behind a Boxster. I was trying to sneakily get a closer look. Sue asks what it was. When I told her she said "That looks nice, you can have one of those". I don't need telling twice! ;)

(XYL - for non-radio folks - ex young lady i.e. wife)

Just remembered i missed the 2 Capris i owned

Not had many considering that I have been on the road since 1981. Why change them if they work!
