I was wondering how much was the Z3 when they were new

My car was first registered in 2000 and is a 1.9 manual roof with full black leather with heated seats

I don't know if this was just a standard car, but how much would it have cost new?

I think it would have been around £19k for the basic model?

Options were something like
  • Air Con £1100
    Power hood £700
    Computer £180
    6 CD Changer £250

I paid £32000 for my first 2.8 and had the choice of a new 2.8 (cancelled order) or the dealer demonstrator which had every option incl hard top. Both were same price and I chose the demo option.
Then eventually got my S54 when it was just over a year old and that was about £42000 new

Does make you think of how much your cars worth when some of our cars are as good now as when they rolled off the production line...

I have to say I am looking forward , all be it with some trepidation, to you guys & gals seeing my blue 2.8 and giving me your thoughts. I am looking forward to doing a few things to her but have no idea if she is a good one or a mistake I just like driving her and want to learn so much. :-bd

I can remember going to the motor show around 1976 and I noticed that a 1000cc Mini cost £1000 and a 3 litre Capri cost £3000. Guess how I thought they priced cars?
