Supper... A meal late evening into the night..

I have read more than once @pgunter @hard top @Shelly that what we Brits call the various meals of the day is a good indication of where we were brought up. I am from good northern stock whereas you, Paul and Shelly, must be southern softies. Not sure about Mike but that's nothing new.
