In the name of science I may (or may not) have driven at 130 mph in a Ford Fiesta RS Turbo (flat out) and 135 mph in a Lotus Turbo Esprite SE. I may (or may not) have been a passenger in said Lotus at 160 mph. Oh, I did drive a 6x4 4.1 ton Range Rover Fire rapid response vehicle on the Autobhan at 'Smiths'. Shortly after the rear right wheel parted company and did a runner in the outside lane! Bosun, get me my Brown trouser :nailbiting: all in my young and invincible days, a bit of a 'Miss Daisy' now :whistle:
 
I told my wife that I would never go over the highway 75mph limit. She just laughed and said, so the Z is slower than your Rubicon? =)):whistle:

I just drive the car like I stole it, its not about top speed for me its about the twisty stuff, I have done 160+ on the back of my brothers Fireblade, now that scared the s*** out of me

Was in the Thrust 2 Land Speed record simulator at the motor museum in Coventry.
Didn’t seem to go very far though. ;)
 
My missus likes me to take my time ;)
 
I may in my time broken a few (dozen ) speed limits over the years. I’ve drove and riden loads of vehicles so fastest I’ve had out of my Yammy R6 was 150mph flat out down the M1 before twitchy bum syndrome kicked in. Got pulled one Saturday night driving home from working away all week at 130mph leaving M18 getting onto A1 the really nice policeman actually spotted me as I came under J1 it just took him to 5miles to catch me. But let me off with a stern telling off and 3 points if I’d agreed his gun said 82 ( bouns ! ) fastest I’ve been in a car was 165mph down the A1 in a mates Ferrari then he moaned about his fuel consumption . But yes everyone says I drive to bloody fast and should slow down
 
All I will say on this is... for those that have been on the whacky Races... you know what I am talking about.. apart from that.. I am saying no more.. :whistle:
