There are as many ways to wash a car as there are products these days. You can put as much or as little effort into it as you want, but you may find it gets a little addictive (and expensive)!

Pressure washers are fine as long as you don't get too close with them.

NEVER use the word sponge again in the context of car cleaning though. Throw them all out, or ideally burn them. Get yourself a good quality microfibre wash mitt at the very least...
SPONGE SPONGE SPONGES SPONGEY SPONGEY SPONGE SPONGE! :D:D:D

Bob square pants . . . . . . :ymdevil:

So I had better throw away my car cleaning SPONGES with the nice crispy green side then ? ....

I use the 12 bucket method. I have to rinse each bucket with a bucket of cleaner water, so that each grit guard is cleaner than the previous one.
I only ever wash my microfibre wash mits under a running warm tap using a new sheepskin mit, and clean latex gloves.

Once I have done that. I use distilled water to rinse out my snow foam lance, and then descale the gauze element.
I then put a 1:50 snow foam mix in the lance, and fill with hot water.
Then I pack it all away because it has gone dark and go to the Polish car washers instead....
 :thankyou:

I hate washing my Zeds

I washed the zed a couple of weeks ago and went out for a drive late in the evening... Got stuck behind a gritter lorry p****** out grit for about 5 miles. Was too scared to overtake as I didn't want anymore chips on the bumper. Zeds been in the garage since and don't think it's going to come out for a couple of months. :banghead:
