How can a lorry turn over on a straight road ?

Don't get me started on "Closed to high sided vehicles" as I haven't found anyone that can tell me what is classed as high sided and I mean in writing from the relevant authority, crazy season just around the corner too.
You have a fair pint Si. I've asked many a transport manager and none could give me a true answer.

I think if it is the one I am thinking of @Jack Ratt The Bin Lorry had a front wheel blowout and to avoid hitting another car he pulled hard to the hard shoulder.. in so doing flipping the wagon over. No loss of life and just annoying for the other drivers. But You have to hand it to the driver, getting a blow out at speed with a big waggon must be a nerve wrecking experience.

It could well have been. It was lying in the outside lane when it came to rest. As I said earlier it was between Jtn 11 and 12 just after the 4 lanes filter into 3 .

Sounds like the one. He did well not to hit another vehicle on that stretch.
