Anybody else put a new door lock on their garage, go outside, lock it and find yourself locked out? Just me then :arghh: forgot to put the pins in that allow the bolt to slide open when you turn the key

Get the grinder out

Thought we’d sent the memo - Don’t stir the oxygen tanks!
Bu**er - too late.

And the moral of the story is?
Always test new locks from the inside

Could've been worse mate, could've been locked in :(

Hey Andy, if I had a shed like yours I would not need a house. Looks ultra beaut.
Room for a two post and a spray booth. What's not to like

Thanks mate. It's an old small barn attached to the house, it's great for space, circa 25ft long by about 12ft deep.

When we bought this house, I replaced the lock on the door to the shop with a brand new, heavy duty Master Lock. After locking the door, it occurred to me I'd left the keys on the workbench...inside the shop. So I now have a really neat heavy duty bolt cutter, and a new Master Lock.

Many people put massive faith in locks including those from big brands like Master Lock and Yale.
It is frighteningly easy to pick many locks, even for an amateur. Often only needs a few cheap simple tools and a bit of know-how. Most padlocks and especially combination locks can be bypassed quickly. Just watch the Lock Picking Lawyer on YouTube.
A £20 pick set opens many doors :wideyed:

It has metal beams running across the inside and they are condensating badly and it's raining down onto everything. I need to pipe lag them and see if it stops the problem. Problem with that is I need to get Reggie out to do it and I can't because I have a large pile of builders rubbish infront of the garage door so can't open it to get him out to do the lagging to stop the condensation to keep Reggie dry as he should be.......and breath :arghh::arghh:

Sort term solution - String some polythene across to catch the condensation Dave and run it to somewhere to collect it.
