Thank the lord I don't live in England any more. Normal service has been resumed with a welcome bit of rain earlier. Went in to town earlier, pulled out of Home Bargains (other cheapo supermarkets are available etc) and found myself behind a black Z4 driven by an optimist. How could I tell he was an optimist, I hear you cry? Roof down would be the answer. Put mine down for the drive home but didn't make it all the way, had to stop and put it up.
Experimentation has taught me that it's a balance between how fast you're going and how hard it's raining. In the sweet spot you can happily drive along in the rain without getting wet. Mind you, when you have to slow down or stop, you're going to get soaked. At the moment I'd be happy to have that happen....
