Has any one else noticed that after driving your Z the floor of the boot gets hot ? I know the exhaust sits just below, but there is a heat shield between the silencer and the underneath of the boot . Steve.

Just noticed it by coincidence last week end after putting the tonuae cover in boot after a ride round,lifted the carpet and the metal below it was quite hot but may be thats how they are but it's the only car i've ever noticed it on tbh Andy.

Don't put your Tesco's frozen food in there Steve. I'm sure I've gone into the boot after longish run but never noticed it hot, now you've started something, gonna check mine next time out. Wonder if your exhaust is leaking top side.?????

My brother had an MGF years ago, used to cook his dinner for him if he put it in the boot.
But it was mid engined, no idea what is going on with your car, could be the weather.......
