Driving back into Wales from a weekend spent with too many horses near Warwick and I don't think I've ever seen so many Z3s and 4s. None of them together, just loads of them along the A5 as we were heading back home. Strange how many had the roof up, too.:wideyed:And there's me in the lorry enjoying going the other way, no traffic at all heading to Wales, just endless streams leaving. Not jealous at all.

Been in Norfolk for a week. I too have seen a lot of Z3s, many of which have had the hood up in glorious sunshine. I often find myself shouting out loud at the driver:- "Get your top down mate, the sun's shining."

I was down in Gaydon, Warwickshire, for British Leyland day at the weekend in my Triumph, and some journeys like that I couldn't bear the thought of the roof being down, 400 mile , i would be burnt to a crisp.
I did have the windows down, also have the option to have the back window unzipped.

I know exactly what you mean. Long journeys on days when the sun is strong are no fun at all in a car with no roof. The ones I've noticed this week though were in towns or on rural B roads.

You don't see that many roadsters with the top down in Florida around the middle of the day, except of course those being driven by the crazy Brits. You know what they used to say "Mad dogs and Englishmen etc. ....... )

Tony.

Roof down at every opportunity. If you are pale skinned wear a cap. Other opinions are available, but they are wrong. ‍

So let me get this right, dont have the top down when the suns out. or when its raining, or windy or just dull. Time for a Yaris then, NOT!

I do;) .

Full solar panel for me these days. If I forget my hat on a sunny day, mrsw reckons I look like a Swan Vestas match after a day out in the Zed...

When we see alot of traffic going the other way, they're all leaving the shore going back to Philly and New York. So what's the attraction in Wales, the sheep or the Pubs???.................Frankie
