Home, sweet home.

:welcome: back mate

Lots and lots of clothes @t-tony =)) probably not for you lol
Oh I'm used to that Pauline, what with birthdays and coming up to Christmas the grand kids do quite well this trip.

Tony.

Good you both made it back safely and didn't get trampled at the Brooks concert. Have never seen him live but his telecast shows are pretty powerful! Rest up before you go back on Friday! Sorry to bring it up! JIM

Not looking forward to that Jim, "There's trouble at Mill" but we'll see on Friday. I agree Garth Brooks does put on a great show. Shame we're not there in January as Billy Joel is on at the Amway Centre.

Tony.

FFS, get a life.....
Well all the Goths are dead now mate.................... or what ever it is you used to listen to.=))

Tony.

Good to know that you and Shirl are back home in one piece, Tony. A frightening, yet exciting experience, hope you managed to fish the chairs out of the pool okay!!

Shirl went in to pull them out to be honest, we both said that we feel that we were lucky that the hurricane moved 25 miles east at the very time to spare central Florida from the worst that was expected. I have said in the past that I would like to experience a Hurricane, BUT since we've owned our villa I guess your perspective changes some what. We do feel for those in northern Volusia and Flagler counties who were not as fortunate as we were, let alone those in North and South Carolina. How unlucky though is Bermuda, a small speck of land out in the Atlantic Ocean who are directly in the sights of Hurricane Nicole.:(

Tony.

Yes @ t-tony everyone should have the experience and the panic building up to a hurricane or tornado and seeing Mother Nature as a force to be reckoned with. The sheer destructive powers are unbelievable as is the aftermath. And, then another comes trailing along to add to the distraction of the first. Nicole is such a beautiful name to give such a destroyer of lives I think and we all need to pray for those that are in her path, especially theCaribbean countries that have already lost so much and now must face down another brutal attack and the health problems that are to come.

Arrived home at 10.45, kettle on, bags out of car, heating on. Sleep!

Tony.
Glad to see that you're both home safe and sound. And the sleep in your own bed in your own house back in the UK must have a satisfying feeling. Miss the rain? You had enough of it with all that wind. I was so happy that you didn't suffer any property loss and made it through the storm safely. I'm sure you know how much worse things could have been. Back with the rest of the family, kids and grand kids is always a good feeling. Hope things in work are manageable. I was so happy to visit you while you were in Florida. It was such a great road trip for me. All the best for you safe and sound at home. Frankie

How much of Mattew did you get @FRANKIE ? I hope you're safe and sound especially with Nicole following on it's tail. Our eastern provinces suffered through a lot of rain and can expect more to come. JIM

Thanks, I was worried that it mayhave hit you harder after watching some vid from the Jersey Shore! Hopefully Nicole will be as kind and stay off shore even for a little while. Stay safe! JIM
