Hi every body on this forum from a newbie, my name is Rex and just got myself a Z3 M in estrol blue, and love it.
Not had the car out much yet as its only a weekend car, the only thing I have found wrong with the car so far is the dashboard lights don't work ? eerrrr didn't think to look at that on the test drive. As I can see from this forum its a common fault and will be fixing it over the Christmas hols so wish me luck.

Hi Rex, and welcome from me near Lincoln. I did a write up on "clocks" removal earlier this year, it's easy.

ps. It could simply be that the headlight switch is turned all the way to the left (this is the dimmer) and turned them off. They are sometimes temperamental.

hiya, suppose you were having too much fun to notice the dash lights, another common reason is the light in the shift knob can short which in turn blows the dimmer switch.
