Cheers gazhyde, we put a new rear screen in it on Saturday, never attempted it before & took about an hour or so, much improved & very satisfyingWhat a cracking pair you have Mr & Mrs @smartbear!
I've heard of people resewing the zipper to the soft top by threading through the original holes with thread, they seem to get worn away in the lower corners.
Is that what's happening to yours?
Hi mike&sandy, mrs smartbear has got some fleece and sewn in some rare earth magnets which stick to the soft top frame so the fleece stays in the right place as the roof is loweredYou did well, Mr Smartbear, there's many a Zedder ended up tearing their hair out trying to put in a replacement rear window, it only takes one or two teeth out of line and the job turns into a nightmare!!!
You must put a folded towel/tea towel along the outside crease of the window, every time you put the top down now, so that the frame doesn't rest on the plastic and scratch it.
