Hello,

I'm Nawid, or Nav for short. I'm a Z3 enthusiast looking to buy my first Z3, and in fact my first ever convertible sports car. It's been a dream of mine for years now, but circumstances in life mean I have only just been able to do it!

This seems like a fantastic community of like minded enthusiasts and a world away from some of the profiteering I encountered on my search so far on Autotrader, Gumtree and Ebay. I'm looking forward to getting involved with the forum, and hopefully I can find a nice car on here to buy!

I have only just sold my previous car (Mk7 Fiesta) yesterday, so I am now looking seriously. I'm not in a mad rush though, will probably wait until I find the right car for me.

My ideal car would be a 2.0l or 2.2l 6 cylinder engine, also open to 2.8l but worried insurance on it will price me out. I'm quite a relatively young driver (25) Also looking for the facelift models, and generally <80k miles.

Let me know if you know of any for sale. Have had a quick look on the sales forum but didn't find much that I liked the look of. But not in a mad rush to get one yet.

There are plenty of Z3 s out there, but a lot of 'immaculate' ones in the adverts are rubbish. On here you have genuine people selling well looked after cars. But it's still worth looking around there are good ones to be found. Good luck and welcome from Derby.
