Managed to have a quick look this morning, wanted to check the engine earth was good and the coil pack was grounded.
Both were fine but I did manage to solve the mystery rattle over Potholes and win a prize.

This was between engine and bulk head and probably belonged to who ever stripped out the aircon.

I now have the very beginnings of a snapon tool collection.

OBD stuff is on the way.....

Bought a Z3 at auction, well my wife did.
The plan was to buy something to commute in and take a punt at buying an MR2.
The MR2 went for silly money and it turned out to be an auto so a lucky dodge as it happens.

Just before the end a Z3 rumbled into the room and a couple of bids later it followed us home.
No history and I hadn't even done a walk round it but it apparently survived a banger rally

Done 5,000 miles in it, drove to work with the roof down today.

Won't be using it tomorrow as its running rough.
