You weren't there for 6 months MikeInteresting to see that both your cars have the hoods down in the photos, when I stayed in Florida a few years ago the only car I saw with the hood down was my rented Mustang, that included several Z 3s.
Tony.

My name is Barry, my wife Dot.and we own a 1996 Boston green Z3 fitted with a S52 3.1 motor, M-sport suspension and auto transmission. We are Britcits, but spend 6 months of the year down here in Ft Myers FL escaping the winter months from our other home just outside Granada, Spain, where we have a Hellrot red example of a Z3 this a manual 2.8 version .and also with M-sport suspension.
This forum looks to be very interesting and we look forward to our membership.
Thank you Philip, nice to be here.Hi Barry, and welcome from me in Cardiff. Enjoy the forum.
Hi Steve, my 'better' half was born in Paisley and her sister still lives near Roslyn, so when in the UK we often pop in . It's a great neck of the woods and with some truly nice stretches of highway, it's just a shame we are in a cheap rental and not one of our Z's !Hi and welcome from me in Scotland![]()
Thanks Slam, Many moons ago I lived in London,, firstly in Hendon, then Clapham Common, and finishing in Maida Vale, but now retired I doubt we could afford to live there even if we desired to do so.! Though we do miss the vibrates of the place sometimes.Hi and welcome from London
Hi Frankie, That's truly amazing coincidences,a) that you have also two Z's b ) that one is green ,the other red c) and that the Boston green one has a tan roof like ours. All we need now is for you to say the red one has a black rag top and we'er almost twins !!!Welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. It seems like we have something in common as we both have 2 Zeds, one Boston Green and the other one red (mine's Imola Red) I replaced the worn black top on the Boston Green to a beige one.....................Frankie

And here it is. I had flown out to San Diego from Philly with another forum member @miller1098 who had traveled from Wales to help me drive this new purchase back to New Jersey. I think this picture is from Oklahoma where we stopped to eat. When we came out ot the restaurant, there was another Z3, black in color, parked next to us. We never did speak to the owner. The top is up and it's black.

I like the wheels on your green car Barry, I had the same on my Oxford Green Z3. I see it's going to be a cold week in Fla. this week. I keep an eye on central Florida on WFTV.com most evenings.
