The higher the better! Tony. I have a Ultrabeam 20 on a 40ft SCAM mast as well as a 102ft G5RV at 33ft. I can't do much about taking down the G5RV it will have to take its chance with the wind! But at least the UB20 should be safe enough, it's down to 8ft and guyed.
I did think about using the Z4 for mobile work. Especially as the battery is in the boot, it should make it easier to get the power to the radio. In the Civic I have to use the 12v sockets, (I cannot go through the bulkhead) which is not ideal. I wonder if anyone has used a Zed for A.R, I might just ask the question on the Z community forum. I wouldn't be surprised if the guys from the USA have done it!

@Althulas Now you have me scratching my head! You have your location down as Banburyshire but you mention 'The Rock', I always associate that with Gibraltar.
