I have a z3 1.9 need to know how to change the oil in the automatic gear box

Hi Edd, firstly welcome from me near Lincoln. I did a write up on Auto box oil change in my 2000 2.0 Z3 a couple of years ago. Basically the same principals apply. You will need a largish syringe to refill your gearbox and you need to be able to get it level with all 4 wheels off the ground.

I think that only covers a manual gearbox Andy. Filling an Auto box requires a different technique.

I changed the oils on my gear box and diff yesterday,easy enough just awkward working underneath the car on axle stands.
As @t-tony said you will need an oil syringe to refill. Mine is a manual so have a look at Tony's article to help you.
