Hi, not been around for a while was very busy with a tricky dissertation and some clinical trials. Then around September I started getting quite unwell, after self refering to my GP, I was put on the urgent cancer pathway.

I can only say this was quite a shock and very scary, I work in cancer research and see a lot of patients who have also been refered. Most have very positive outcomes with early diagnosis and either surgical procedures or drug interventions.

So a lot of tests and scans later, I had a couple of complications which delayed surgery, l still need a further op but have been taken off the pathway. So great news for me there not such great news, was the Z I had been working on was written off, I believe by a dustbin wagon that did not report and just drove off.

So long story short its been about a month now where I feel I am getting back to normal. So I decided to treat myself to another Z. This time a coupe, it needs everything a twenty year old Z needs and probably more, but I love it, picked it up from up north this weekend.

Looking forward to working on and driving it around will pop a pic up later.

Andy

Welcome back.

Sorry to hear about your health. Glad to hear that it is now going in a positive direction and you’re on the mend.

Sad to hear about the Zed being hit and written off. Hope the new coupe fits the bill and it puts a smile on your face.

Good to hear on all fronts then Andy...

Cheers guys, struggling with the demons of stupidity and cant work out how to upload a pic. Dooh will have a go again later

Hi Andy, was wondering how you were doing after your name was raised a couple of weeks ago. Happy to hear that after what must've been a bloody shock that you're now on the right road to recovery and good health mate.
Best wishes from me and Shirl. Take care and enjoy the coupe

Tony.

Welcome back Andy, good to hear you're on the mend. Shame about the Z3 but a coupe to replace it - well done:thumbsup:

Thanks Tony, still very tired and lost a lot of weight, very frightning time but this helped me re-evaluate what is and what is not important. Looking forward to a great summer and enjoying life, not getting stressed with things that really dont matter.

Sounds like the right approach mate.:)

WOW! I like the look of that Andy, what motor does it have, 2.8?

Tony.

Hi, 2.8 LHD the 19,s arn't great for comfort and when lowered they will be a shocker but soon be changed to 18,s

Saw that one for sale. Nice looking coupe.

Same wheels as one of my Zeds.

Agree it feels heavy on the steering, but I like the look.

Good to see you're back after a grim period. Too much of it about and your comments on not getting stressed over things that dont matter are very true. A lot of matters don't mean a jot in the greater scheme of things. I had assumed you were generally just busy with work. Anyway great coupe, did you ever get the M44 installed before the bin wagon binned it!

Welcome back Andy. Got everything crossed for a speedy recovery for you pal. Enjoy the new Coupe.

Get well soon and a massive welcome back
