Hi, I'm Peter and live in Napier, New Zealand. You can't hear my accent, but I came 6 years ago from the Nederlands to New Zealand. I am from the province of North Holland, so I can say I am from Holland

2 years ago, I decided to have something different for a ride. Normally I always drove Japanese cars for the reliability. Mostly Toyota, but my last one was a Nissan Silvia (a so called boy racers car)

I bought the Zed with 34.000km on the clock, which was not a lot. Normally you see them here for sale with more than 100.000km. So that looked like a good deal to me, and it was only minutes away for sale:). It is my daily car. I do about 10.000km a year.

I have done some mods. I have modified my tail lights with dual color leds, and I have recently build in angeleyes and dual color leds in the indicator reflectors, which are running in a sequence a few seconds (just like the nightrider) if you lock/unlock the doors. I am working on a video clip to show.
A year ago I was able to find a hardtop (not often for sale). It is a white one, and I often get the question "when are you gone paint it red?) The fact is, I like it like this. It is a kind of retro thing, and it is my zed:happy:

Just replaced the bushes of the drivers side seat. Thanks to the manual on zroadster.
By the way, this is my third roadster. My first one was a 1960 Simca Oceane, but I never got that one road worthy. The second one (not really a roaster, but convertible) was a 1988 Toyota Celica, which I had to sell sadly :(, because it was to dear to bring it to NZ, and it was of course a left hand drive.

Tomorrow I will put the bushes in the other side.

Cheers,
Peter

By the way, good looking Z and I like the white hardtop on it, looks smart and as you type, kind of retro.

Welcome Peter :)

Looks like a lovely Sienna red you have there. Like to see some better pictures of the white hard top on the car if you get chance.

Shout if you have any questions,

Gary

Good Sunday afternoon @Shelly (sod off Gonzo) just discussing the weather, as you do, and the fact that 'political correct thinking' may have ballsed up the Dutch kids Christmas.
For years, since the 13 hundreds, the 'good old man' has had black helpers who, if you have not been good, stick you in a sack that the presents have been in and cart you back off to Spain but 'they' don't want to allow them to be black anymore as it looks like 'slave trading'......FFS!!!!
The 'good old man' arrived in the Netherlands today by steam boat with his white (schimmel) horse and all his 'slaves' as the Dutch celebrate on the 6th of December and all the kids and parents have been out in the rain today to see him arrive.
By the way, I am English but moved to The Netherlands when I was 17 years old.

Stop trying to push the envelope bonzo....and I mean it.....
Most, if not all, of your posts are just puerile crap with no intelligent input to this forum.
I do not see many people rating your posts on welcome threads as funny.
When is it going to sink in?

He Peter and welcome to the forum from New Jersey. I didn't think I'd like the white top with the rest of the car but I'm surprisingly finding myself liking the combination. There's a lot here to interest you, from the tech stuff to banter between the member. Don't be put off by the comments of the other members among themselves as they are really old friends (I think). Frankie.
