Hi from East Yorkshire! My 2.8 wide body build, so far!

Hi, all. Only been on here a few days but as you can see, i had a very busy week, last week!
After purchasing my first z (1997 m52b28) only a few weeks ago, given the week off from work, I decided to dedicate this to starting my build properly.
It needed a LOT of love, and I think I've given it just that.
Lots of coffee, late nights and tears have paid off and I couldn't be happier!
I have many little niggles to sort through, and it's by no means finished, however I think I've made good head way and a productive start!
i look forward to meeting you all, and I'm sure I'll be very active in here over the coming months!

Great colour choice, and you'll always be in demand as a sweeper on a cruise, so easy to spot in the mirror. Me and Shirl had a lovely orange Lotus on our last run out, made life much easier!​

What a transformation you must be pleased with the paint job. Looks very low though, what springs and dampers have you fitted and what's the tide like?

they were the first thing to come off! The fronts aren't so bad, the rears however were completely shot. Drivers side was about as useful as a chocolate fire guard, and the Passenger side had also sheared the bolt inside the trailing arm, which you can imagine I wasn't particularly pleased about rectifying!
I swapped them out for BC Racing fully adjustable. I like the dampening adjustment, and I went for the option of 5 inch springs with a 20kg rating. Absolute world of difference! It's like driving a completely different car.

Essentially, yes. The standard engine mounts were swapped out for billet ones, which raised the engine by approximately 20mm.
Previous to this, I had compromised a sump the day before I planned to service it!
It occasionally catches the sump brace over speed bumps, but Aside from that, it's surprisingly pleasant to drive.

Hi from Mansfield but originally from East Yorkshire, as a nipper I lived in Beverley. My grandfather lived in Cottingham. Your car looks great, I may struggle to get in and out of it with my back tho!

Small world. I live in Driffield, but I work in Skidby which is a small village directly next to Cottingham.
I think you may struggle! At 23, even I struggle some days after work!
