Welcome, I've had a 2.2i and it's a decent engine - kind of the best of all worlds. Only 20hp less than the 2.8, so it's easy to keep on their tails (or in a lot of cases get past them )

How very dare you Mr Hyde! Lee couldn't keep up with me in Sams 2.2! The 2.2 is a very good engine and a good allrounder. You wouldn't go far wrong.

Pfew, well, it's been busy on this side of the keyboard. We eventually found a nice Oxford Green Xhed!
