I've had a 1997 2.8 wide-body Z3 for over 15 years and love it. But the time has come to move on, so I've bought a six-year-old Z4 E89 35i. I'm getting too old to remove and replace the Z3 hard top each year, so the E89 appeals. I've been surprised at the difference between the Zs. The Z4 seems much bigger, heavier and more civilised - but possibly less fun, with more to go wrong. Has anyone else made the transition?

Welcome, I have recently purchased an e89 23i sdrive. I agree very civilised, its a great cruiser recently went to Italy in it, trouble free and very comfy. But if I want to go for a drive I take the Z3;)
BTW I have ditched the run flats, pressures are the same in non RFTs
