Hello and welcome from Truro. Sounds like you've found yourself a little gem. Zeds are hardy little cars and stand up well to the elements. I'm sure you'll have her up and running in no time. It will be great to see you out and about on some meets

Looking forward to seeing the end product, it'll be night and day I suspect. Enjoy getting stuck in.

so as you can see, i have a busy weekend ahead, one panel at a time, looks like a few spiders will need re-homing.
the hood looks a task but some good youtube vids and product out there.
having seen the pics, has my car got aircon? also my central locking works perfect with the key but what is the fob for? just alarm or central locking too? the fob lights up when pressed [new battery fitted] but is not linking to the car at all..
any advice would be much appreciated....thanks

There's still a good reflection on the sides of the car so should polish up ok. The bonnet always bares the brunt of the elements but you might get lucky. 62k miles is not a lot of use so I think you're on a winner.

The key fob will do central locking. I've got the same on my 2.8. There are a few threads on re programming your remote. Someone will be able to put the links up for you. I'm pretty useless I'm afraid

@yorky carry on uploading as many pictures as you want, we have plenty of disk space. The images are resized and compressed on upload anyway.

We love pictures and projects :D

You can get the paint depth checked on the bonnet to see about moping, not sure what's best @Summit Detailing or @Mac Romans may be best placed to advise.
hi, i will see how it looks after a good soaking with general cleaning stuff first, hoping warm soapy water will soften and remove a good amount, if not, its out with the mop and compound, steady as she goes.

Can't see your centre console, that's where the button for aircon will be (frost flake on the button). The fob should lock/unlock the car as well as arm the alarm. There's a big thread on here ref the fob linking to the alarm and how to do it @Geoff Crispin I believe had the same issue. I've tagged him so hell be along.

Not the best pic but you can see the aircon switch just above the gear knob top.
