First problem in 2 years... Electric power steering has stopped working, on the plus side you should see the muscles in my arms ! Sometimes it decides to work then the next morning it's not ?!? Any suggestions would be welcome !! Thanks. Mart

Welcome Mart. Sadly the electric steering on the Z4 is prone to failure. Shame they chose to use it on the Z4 rather than conventional power steering.

Hi Mart, welcome from a fellow Z4 3.0 owner, as far as I know it means replacing the steering column assembly/motor. Parts are available used and new but s/h are 300 and up. How much mileage has your car done?

Tony.

Hey Andy, when we were there we walked from Ceasar's right down to the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign in the middle of the road in over 30 deg C. Called in at every hotel for a cold drink and bought a bottle of "Ice cold water $1" on most of the bridges on the way back. We looked like a pair of bloody lobsters when we got back. Shirl never could navigate !!=))=))

Hello and welcome from Truro. Sorry to hear about your power steering problem. I'm old enough to remember when power steering was an optional extra only on luxury cars =))

We really are spoilt these days

Very true Garry and that's why it's such a shock when it packs up!
