Hi,

I hope you are well! I am Ties ("Tees"). I have met the Z off my life 3.5 years ago, it was love at first sight, I love her so much!
It's been an emotional and costly journey as many of you I am sure might recognise 😅 I have reached a point where I am looking for some much needed and urgent peer support from fellow Z3 enthusiasts as yourselves to keep her going as she failed her MOT yesterday and also of course to connect with, learn from and share the Zappreciation, I am keen to connect with fellow Zedheads in Bristol and surrounding areas in particular.

You came highly recommended in the "BMW Z3 Roadster & BMW Z3 Coupe Owners Club UK" Facebook group and am grateful for "Bmbabe" to do so! Cheers babe!

Thank you😊

Hi and welcome from me too near Lincoln. Shame you're way out west, you might've benefitted from some ZedShed time here.

Tony.

Hi and Welcome, from just up the road in Gloucester. There are many helpful people around on this forum as I have discovered since I bought my Z just about a year ago. Aside from the help and support it has been great to meet new people, who have become friends.

Hope you can keep your car going and get it sorted - I am not particularly handy in that area, but there are local people who are able to help and there is a ZedShed West that when available helps owners out.

As @Iamjonw mentions in his post you are not far away from Zedshed West based in Lydney and run by our esteemed member @Nodzed where we get together to do jobs on our cars. Don't think the welding jobs could be done there you need to find someone local to you for that. Any suspension jobs and mechanical jobs it should need can usually be sorted at the Zedshed, just means you supply the parts and the job gets done between those attending. Saturdays is the day Nodzed opens the shed and work has to be carried out on the day, thats how it works. Suggest you get the welding done and the lights fixed so you can get an MOT so you can get it over to the shed so we can work out what needs replacing suspension wise. I did look at your fail list on the other thread so it may proove difficult to get an MOT if the suspension joints will fail it before you can get to the Zedshed. If you want to use the Zedshed pm Nodzed so the ramp can be booked for the day.

Ooooh that sounds amazing!!! Wish I learned about this forum sooner!! Thank you so much for your incredibly helpful response!! I will be in touch for sure as soon as I get the welding & lights sorted! It is such a game changer when people with a shared appreciation for the Z3 get involved. Thanks so much! Legends!

Welcome to the fun - There are a few people near Bristol who I am sure will help. What did it fail on?
Thank you so much!
It failed on quite a list (see my other post linked below) particulairly in need of a keen welder🙏😅
