Welcome Paul,

Hayling Island is a Strange Town, spent a lot of time there, it seems to have escaped the Modern World, no danger of being caught Down in the Tube Station at Midnight around there but it's easy Going Underground. Nothing like being In the City but When you're Young it's a great place to grow up, lot's of Absolute Beginners trying to Start to kite surf on the front at weekends, but hell, That's Entertainment.

Tried for quite some time to work Eton Rifles into that paragraph, but failed miserably.

Enjoy the Z. Bloody marvellous little cars. I like the Elan reference.
Hi Nigel, Hayling is a bit of a petrol heads Sunday drive. I was born in Coventry though so only have the 5 toes on each foot!

That’s good coming from some one who lives in Essex.....the land of Botox, Boobs, and Boneheads!!! =))

And not to mention TOWIE...or Thickest Overpaid Wasters In Europe.

Hi All
Joined this group as I bought a Z3 1.9i 140bhp a week ago today. 98 build, Atlantic Blue.

So far I have changed the oil, new air filter, Fitted style 55 wheels in place of the style 36 (going cheap if anyone wants a set), and replaced the seat runner bushes. (so yes I now have the SRS warning light and tool is in the post!)

Long interest in cars and diy repairs/ service.
Previously owned Porsche 944s2 and Honda S2000 as second weekend cars.
Bought a z3 because;
1 Fits on the drive
2 Prices bottomed out
3 Solid engineering (mainly)
4 A bit like a more modern Lotus Élan with a BMW nose so I fancied one.

Interested in bumping into any local z3 owners

Regards
Paul

Welcome from Kent.

I know Hayling well, Lived next door on Thorney Island as a kid.

Will be on the Island on Sunday, catching a boat out of Northney, wreck fishing for Cod and Pollock :)
