Hi Shaun, just tried a pic, but wouldn't upload , can u not upload a pic straight off iPhone camera....?

Cheers for links anyway

And yea it's a shame to chop up a car but when it had its day! Seemed a good option to keep it living on under the skin

Not sure how you get a pic on from a phone as I use my laptop, hey I'm all for what you are doing and I am also planning on building one as I am a panel beater and painter, one sold on ebay recently for 48k

Hey Ricky, just home from pub. Well mate you've uploaded a picture. That's a good looking kit you're building so we'll be looking forwards to your progress. Where are you located.

Tony.

Cheers tony, what I do need help with most of all is what kind of wire wheels can I make fit, I'm not keen on the £2k cost that the kit manufacturer could supply......

I think the biggest issue you will come up against is the fact that most, if not all, of the old school cars which wore these type of wheels were only 4 stud/bolt fixings. Obviously the Z had 5 , I would look through the forums on here for the people doing these builds and see what they're doing, @Sir Percival , @Tim beard to name but two. Good luck mate, I do like wire wheels, just finished a rear brake rebuild on a mates Midget which had these on. There's a member on here in Hongkong (I think) and I'm sure he has wire wheels on his Z3.

Tony.
