Currently have a 2007 Z4 2.5si E85. Just upgraded stereo and speakers, front and rear strut braces, stainless exhaust, clear third brake like and deep dish alloys. Looking for rear cubby speakers grills in black if anyone has any for sale. In the process of fitting an induction kit as K and N etc don't make one for mine due to the maf sensor being mounted in in the airbox lid. Still looking to add air suspension and maybe a spoiler as well.

I fitted this on my 2003 3.0 a few weeks ago. It has a 90mm dia.

Hi I'm in Middlesex,

The issue I'm having is the maf sensor as its moulded to the lid which is a pain in the bum. I think they changed the engines around 06 or 07 as there's no dipstick on mine either

Yes, I recall Gaz having that issue, I seem to remember he used an alloy tube and attached the MAF sensor onto it.If you don't need to re use the original air box I'm sure you could cut the MAF sensor and surrounding piece out of the plastic and attach it to a silicone tube like I used?

Picked these up on eBay and have just had them refurbished. Picking them up next week.
Thought I would be different so got Square exhaust made to fit so I get a nice pop in lower gears. Fitted dynamat and silent coat in the boot, doors, door cards, and front base speaker locations as well as the rear sub cubbie mounts. Adds a little weights but the doors aren't as tinny and it stops a bit of the exhaust noise inside as well

Slightly better pic to see, fronts are 19 x 8.5 rears 19 x 9.5. Just deciding on on 265 35 or 30 for the rears and 235 40 or 35 on the front

If 19s then you will need to go 265/30 and 235/35 or your speedo will be out quite a bit

Hi Tony,

I looked at that but the way its moulded there isn't a complete circle on the lid side to fit the hose on. Not sure if you can tell from the pic. Think I've got it sorted but will know when the bits turn up next week. Was looking for an air scoop to go behind the front grill to direct the air better as well.

That's something on my list too. My Ramair is tight up against the original air box feed on the front panel which means it gets everything that comes its way as mine is an "open ended" filter, so a bigger scoop behind the grille should hopefully increase the flow even more. It also sounds nice when you give it a boot full................................

Tony.

ps. When I get to remodelling the air scoop I will keep you posted mate.:)
